What Is Brass Ball Valve?

A brass ball valve is a type of valve that controls the flow of fluids through a pipe or plumbing system. It is named after the material used for its construction, which is brass—an alloy composed primarily of copper and zinc.

The design of a brass ball valve consists of a hollow, perforated sphere (the ball) with a hole in the middle known as the bore.
